Young Dragons - Being Gathering 2026
A New Creative Format for Kids and Families
Dear Being Family,
At Being Gathering 2026, Young Dragons returns with a renewed creative format for kids and families. The programme unfolds through long-duration Thematic Ateliers: open and continuous spaces where children and their caregivers can arrive freely, stay as long as they wish, and move at their own rhythm.
✺ Always family-centred, always fluid, always playful, and grounded
At the heart of this new format is a simple but powerful idea: it takes a village to raise a child. By creating spaces where children explore freely and collaborate naturally, we nurture community, inviting kids into collective play and mutual support that once flourished before screens took over. Here, children build relationships, learn with and from one another, and grow within a supportive “village” of peers, parents, and facilitators.
✺ How It Works
Continuous Format
Thematic Ateliers operate as creative studios open throughout the day. Families can join freely at any time, allowing a relaxed and intuitive way of participating.
More Time, More Depth
By moving beyond 1–2 hour workshops, we encourage longer engagement and a deeper relationship with materials, ideas, and collective experimentation.
Expanded Capacity
Each Atelier can host 30 to 50 participants simultaneously, increasing the number of children and families we welcome.
Guided by Specialists
A dedicated team facilitates the ateliers: offering guidance, teaching techniques, supporting simple projects, and ensuring a safe, inspiring environment. The team will be scaled according to ticket sales to maintain high-quality care and attention.
How to Register a Child?
Children aged 0 to 14 (inclusive) only need to be registered. Registration will be available from 5 January 2026. You can register your child after purchasing your Being Gathering 2026 ticket and receiving your Being Family ID.
Ateliers for Young Dragons
✺ Colour Splash Atelier
A shared creative space where colour becomes language. Inspired by street art, this atelier invites children, teens and families to express themselves freely through collective, large-scale artworks. From first encounters with colour to bold acts of self-expression, creativity grows through shared making and belonging.
✺ Circus Spin Lab
A playful world of movement, balance and exploration. Through circus-inspired activities on the ground and in the air, children and families build confidence, coordination and resilience - learning naturally through joyful experimentation and connection in motion.
✺ The Clayground Studio
A slow, grounding studio where hands meet the earth. Working with clay invites focus, calm and imagination, encouraging all ages to create together through touch, form and patience, in a shared rhythm across generations.
Our children’s education and connection to nature are vital for the future of our planet. Young Dragons is a space where children can explore and learn about ecological systems, nurturing awareness and responsibility from an early age.
Please note that Young Dragons is not a drop-off area, children must always be accompanied by an adult to ensure their safety and well-being.
