1. DATA COLLECTION
When visiting our website, we may automatically collect data such as IP addresses, device type/model and OS. This information is collected in order to improve the website.
At Being we send out regular newsletters to subscribers to inform them about news and all sorts of relevant information.
If you are a Being Gathering Newsletter subscriber, you should have received an email on the 23rd of May to update you on the new European regulation for user data protection, which became effective on the 25th of May 2018. If you haven’t explicitly authorised the use of your data to keep receiving Being Gathering notifications, your subscription has been cancelled and your data erased from our database.
If you have authorised the use of your data, please note that for this end, we only collect the email address.
1.3 Online Application forms
Being Gathering is a co-creation, and at each edition, we make online forms available so that Beings have the opportunity to send their proposals and participate in the making of the event.
Through these online forms, we receive information such as name, email, gender, date of birth, phone, address and country.
2. DATA STORAGE
2.1 Where do we keep it?
All the collected data is kept in data centers located in the EU, owned by companies complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2.2 For how long do we keep it?
This includes where available, your IP address and pseudonymous identifiers, operating system and browser type and, depending on the cookie, also includes the reporting of statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns.
